The EYOWF 2011 Honorary Board is Being Established

The upcoming 10th European Youth Olympic Winter Festival (EYOWF) 2011 in the Liberec Region will also have an Honorary Board. At present the Board consisting of well-known personalities, who will assist in promoting the Festival, is being constituted.
In the near future, the places on the Honorary Board will be occupied by well-known faces from Czech sport and political life. Roman Kumpošt, an experienced skiing official and a diplomat, was named President with his task being assembling of the Board. Roman Kumpošt explains: “The Honorary Board has an advisory and consultative role. Our main task is to promote EYOWF 2011 in the social sphere and ensure its high prestige.”
Among the first to accept membership have been Milan Jirásek, President of the Czech Olympic Committee, and Stanislav Eichler, President of the Liberec Region. It is expected that other notable personalities will soon join the Board, which will actively support both the preparations as well as the course of EYOWF 2011 itself.
